All About Gokyo Fifth Lake Trekking

In Everest region Gokyo Fifth Lake trekking is most popular trek which takes us to the center of attraction to Gokyo Ri, forth lake (Thonak Tsho) and fifth lake (Ngozuma Tsho) along with Ngazumpa Glacier which is the biggest glacier the world. This trek gives chance to witness remarkable views of Cho-Oyu, Gyachung Kang, Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Makulu along with the tranquil Gokyo lakes. We meet friendly Sherpa people and trek along picturesque villages, great variety of cultures and traditions, colorful festivals and monasteries.

Our trip begins with scenic flight to Lukla; the flight is stampede and make sure to hold the nerve. We hike to Phakding and reach Namche on the next day. Namche is the gateway to the Everest where we acclimate and head further to Gokyo lakes leaving behind Machhermo. Our guide take to us early morning to Gokyo Ri for superb Himalayan views and trail continue descend via Na, Phortse village , Tengboche , Namche , Lukla then by flight back to Kathmandu.
